About
I've performed across North America as rapper Young Braised, graduated from clown school (yes, it's a real thing), dropped out of art school, and travelled around the world (literally) in seven months. Exploring my edges helps me find my center. I bring the same approach to copywriting, pushing ideas to their limits to make the messages they carry resonate as deeply as possible.
I'm currently sharing ideas through a monthly newsletter at Andrew Ward Worldwide, editing a graphic novel for artist and author Zen Wang, and writing/performing sketch comedy with Really Cool Productions.
When I'm not playing with words, I'm playing catch up with everything I want to learn (guitar, piano, Spanish, how to ride a motorcycle) or playing with my 4-year-old daughter. We also work together at our local Family Resource Centre, hosting a free pancake breakfast for dads and kids every Saturday.
Occasionally I do stand up, but I try to move my body as much (basketball, running, yoga, qigong, dance) and as little (meditation, reading) as possible every day.
